Equipment Used?
We use extremely powerful hot water extraction machines. These machines have much more power than a hired RugDoctor or other carpet cleaning machines you can hire like a Karcher. Our machines have a large clean water tank and a similar-sized waste water tank which are usually about 40ltrs in size. When we use our carpet cleaning wand that is attached by a hose to the machine it sprays hot water into the carpet pile while sucking out the dirty water at the same time. The extracted dirty water is vacuumed into the waste tank, where it can be disposed of safely at a later time through a tap on the tank. Carpets are normally only left slightly damp after cleaning and dry in about 2 to 3 hours depending on the carpet fibre type.
Carpets are sometimes helped along to dry with our large carpet drying machines if needed. These machines are used often when the carpet is wool or a man-made fibre Wilton to prevent shrinkage. A deodoriser is used in the water that we clean the carpet with which leaves it smelling fresh after cleaning and still deodorised after drying.
